Introducing Our LEGO Robotics Summer Camp (And a Look at What’s Next!)

We’re thrilled to introduce our LEGO Robotics Summer Camp — a hands-on, imagination-fueled experience where students explore science, technology, and engineering by building and coding their own robots. It’s not just about fun (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and helping every child discover the joy of learning.

This summer's camp is designed specifically for students in 3rd through 8th grade, offering engaging afternoon sessions from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dalton Learning Center. Each day, students work in teams to solve creative challenges and explore real-world applications of robotics and engineering.

We use LEGO Spike Prime, an advanced robotics kit that combines colorful LEGO elements with easy-to-use hardware and intuitive programming in the Spike app. Students build everything from moving machines to autonomous vehicles and program them using block-based coding. It offers the perfect blend of engineering, coding, creativity, and teamwork all in one dynamic system.

But this is just the beginning.

Expanding to Morning & Afternoon Sessions
Due to growing interest and limited class sizes, we’re planning to offer both morning and afternoon classes in the near future. This will allow more students to participate without compromising the personalized attention and structured fun that defines our program.

Welcoming Younger Learners (1st & 2nd Grade)
We believe every child deserves the chance to fall in love with STEM. That’s why we’re working on a new curriculum designed specifically for 1st and 2nd graders, using LEGO Spike Essentials. These younger students will get an early taste of engineering, problem-solving, and collaboration in an age-appropriate, supportive environment.

Future Locations on the Horizon
As we grow, so does our mission. We hope to bring this program to additional schools, churches, and community centers in the near future. Our goal is to make robotics education accessible for families everywhere — especially in underserved areas where resources are often limited.

Whether you’re a returning family or discovering us for the first time, we invite you to be part of something exciting. This summer isn’t just about building robots. It’s about building up students who can lead, create, and imagine a better future.

Stay tuned for announcements and registration updates. We can’t wait to build with you!
