We’re thrilled to introduce our LEGO Robotics Summer Camp, a hands-on, imagination-fueled experience where students explore science, technology, and engineering by building and coding their own robots. It’s not just about fun (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and helping every child discover the joy of learning.
This summer’s camp is designed specifically for students in 3rd through 8th grade, offering engaging afternoon sessions from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dalton Learning Center. Each day, students work in teams to solve creative challenges and explore real-world applications of robotics and engineering.
We use LEGO Spike Prime, an advanced robotics kit that combines colorful LEGO elements with easy-to-use hardware and intuitive programming in the Spike app. Students build everything from moving machines to autonomous vehicles and program them using block-based coding: the perfect blend of engineering, coding, creativity, and teamwork.
But This Is Just the Beginning
Expanding to Morning & Afternoon Sessions: Due to growing interest and limited class sizes, we’re planning to offer both morning and afternoon classes in the near future. This will allow more students to participate without compromising the personalized attention that defines our program.
Welcoming Younger Learners (1st & 2nd Grade): We’re working on a new curriculum designed specifically for 1st and 2nd graders using LEGO Spike Essentials, giving younger students an early taste of engineering, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Future Locations on the Horizon: As we grow, we hope to bring this program to additional schools, churches, and community centers. Our goal is to make robotics education accessible for families everywhere, especially in underserved areas where resources are often limited.
Whether you’re a returning family or discovering us for the first time, we invite you to be part of something exciting. This summer isn’t just about building robots. It’s about building up students who can lead, create, and imagine a better future.
